Solid mid-range phone with great software support

I bought Samsung Galaxy A55 5G during Flipkart BBD sale at around 34999 rupees and I must say this is one of the best decisions I made this year. The phone feels premium in hand with the metal frame, I was expecting plastic at this price but Samsung surprised me. Display is gorgeous, Super AMOLED with 120Hz, I watch a lot of YouTube Shorts and Instagram Reels and everything looks so smooth and vivid. Camera performance in daytime is excellent, but night mode is where it really shines, the OIS helps keep photos sharp even when your hand is slightly shaky. I use it in Ahmedabad summer and even at 45 degrees temperature the phone does not heat up badly. My concern is that the charging is only 25W which means about 1 hour 20 minutes for full charge. For a 2024 phone this feels slow. Also no wireless charging which other brands provide at this price. But Samsung software support and brand reliability makes up for these shortcomings.

Maine yeh phone Hyderabad ke Croma showroom se liya tha aur seriously isko lekar kafi research ki thi. Samsung A55 5G ek dum best mid-ranger phone hai jo main abhi tak dekha hoon. 50MP OIS camera itna achha hai ki mere husband ne pocha kya yeh naya iPhone hai. Haha! Monsoon season mein bheeg gaya tha thoda lekin IP67 ki wajah se kuch nahi hua, that is real value addition. Display 120Hz mein itna smooth hai ki wapas 60Hz phone use karne ka mann hi nahi karta. Samsung ka ek sabse bada advantage yeh hai ki yeh 4 saal ke OS update guarantee deta hai. Itna koi Chinese brand nahi deta. Battery life bhi 5000mAh ki wajah se bahut acha hai, ek din mein khatam hi nahi hota. Value for money ke maamle mein yeh phone OnePlus Nord 3 aur Nothing Phone 2 dono ko peeche chhod deta hai mere opinion mein.
