Information We Collect
When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and password (stored as a bcrypt hash — we never store plaintext passwords). When you contribute (reviews, edits, discussions), we log the content and your IP address for spam prevention. We do not sell your personal data.
How We Use It
Your email is used for account verification, important notifications (price drops you requested, replies to your reviews), and optional product updates. We do not send marketing emails without your consent.
Cookies
We use session cookies for login and preference cookies for UI settings. We do not use third-party advertising cookies. Analytics (Plausible) is privacy-first and does not use cookies.
Your Rights
You can delete your account at any time from your profile settings. Upon deletion, your reviews and edits become anonymous (not deleted, as they form part of the public product database). Contact privacy@ipdb.in for data requests.
